Of the 23,940 people living in Ponca in 2020, 51.6 percent (12,349) were women and 48.4 percent (11,591) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NC Oklahoma News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 453. In the 65 and over age range, there were 2,864 females and 1,676 males.
