On or around December 10, 2021, nefarious actors directed
multiple shots from a firearm at several wind turbines at the Frontier II Windpower site in Kay County.
The Sheriff's office is actively investigating this vandalism and is seeking the help of the community to identify suspects.

Duke Energy Sustainable Solutions, the project developer and owner, is offering a $5,000 reward for any information shared leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible.
