The Oklahoma State softball team continued its fall season with a 10-0 victory over Seminole State on Tuesday night at Cowgirl Stadium.
The Cowgirls moved to 7-0 in the fall exhibition play with the victory.
Five Oklahoma State pitchers combined for the four-hit shutout. Kyra Aycock, Lexi Kilfoyl, Kelly Maxwell, Ivy Rosenberry and Bailie Runner each made 2.0 inning appearances.
OSU jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first inning after taking advantage of a Trojans' throwing error.
The Cowgirls tacked on two more in the second inning courtesy of a two-run homer from Micaela Wark.
A three-run fourth inning – highlighted by a Morgan Wynne RBI double – put the Cowgirls comfortably ahead midway through the exhibition contest, 7-0. Wark's third RBI of the night, a deep sacrifice fly, added another in the sixth inning.
Audrey Schneidmiller blasted a two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth to conclude the Cowgirls' scoring output.
Oklahoma State concludes its fall season against Tulsa next Thursday, October 27. First pitch from Cowgirl Stadium is set for 6 p.m.
