Of the 61,555 citizens living in Garfield County in 2020, 46,074 were old enough to vote as of March 26, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 23,204 of those people were female and 22,870 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.

Statistical data for 2021 will be released later this year.
