Oklahoma State track & field completed its first meet of the weekend with several impressive performances Friday at the Red Raider Open in Lubbock, Texas.

Hannah Bradford and Ariadni Adamopoulou highlighted the day with individual victories in the Weight Throw and Pole Vault, respectively. Tamara Woodley and DJ McArthur had stellar days in the 600 Yards, both grabbing heat wins and top five performances overall.

Bradford and Johnna Orange started the day competing in the Weight Throw, with both improving upon last week's Arkansas Invitational performances. Orange bested her PR for the second time in as many weeks with a 17.12-meter toss. Bradford took the lead after her third throw, besting Miami's Hannah Hall with a 19.01-meter throw. Meanwhile, Sam Mason competed in the Shot Put for the first time since he was a freshman, posting a personal-best throw of 15.96 meters.

Adamopoulou and Anna Airault continued their strong start to the indoor season with both finishing in the top four in the Pole Vault. Adamopoulou walked away with the event victory after vaulting 4.10 meters. Airault finished fourth with a 3.85-meter vault, a new personal best. Her leap pushed her into a tie for third place in program history with Elliett Kulkin, who accomplished that feat in 2018.

Three Cowgirls landed inside the top 10 in the 600 Yards, led by Woodley who finished with a time of 1:21.83, opening her indoor season with a fifth-place finish overall. Michaela Travers and Tori Ortiz finished eighth and tenth, respectively with Travers' time of 1:22.4 moving her to ninth in program history.

For the Cowboys, McArthur had another impressive day in the 600 Yards, crossing the finish line in 1:09.8 for a heat win and a fourth-place finish overall. He was one of six Cowboys to finish in the top 12. Following him was Charlie Bartholomew, as his sophomore season gets underway with a heat victory of his own.

Cowgirl Multis Maddie Meiner, Olivija Vaitaityte and Bailey Golden each competing in the High Jump, finishing third, fourth and sixth, respectively. The three Cowgirls will be taking on the Pentathlon in next week's Razorback Invitational. Meiner already has a Pentathlon under her belt this season, taking home the victory at Carol Robinson's Women's Winter Pentathlon in December. Vaitaityte and Golden will be competing in the event for the first time this year. Meiner holds OSU's record with 4,115 points in last year's Big 12 Championship, with Golden and Vaitaityte ranking second and third, respectively.

The Cowboys and Cowgirls return to the track Saturday with several athletes competing in the J.D. Martin Invitational in Norman, Okla.
