In Game 1, Morgan Meyer had a three hits including a home run in a 7-5 loss.
Hannah Endicott and Savannah Chenoweth had two hits each as Northern outhit Crowder 9-7.
Lauren Bratcher started in the circle allowing seven runs on six hits.
In Game 2, the Mavs out hit Crowder 6-3 but lost 2-0.
Emma Enderud allowed just one earned run over seven innings while striking out six.
Hannah Endicott had two hits for the Mavs.
The Mavs (7-7) are at MACU JV on Monday.
