The NOC Tonkawa Mavs swept #5 Murray State in Tishomingo on Monday.

The Mavs (12-8) split the series 2-2 with the Aggies.

In Game 1, Cade Tucker crushed a sixth inning grand slam to break open a close game at Murray State.  Leading 5-4, Tucker's slam scored Preston Knott, Thomas Dunn, and Matt Stancliff giving NOC a 9-4 lead.

Tucker finished the game with six rbi's.  Darian Duhon and Garrison Brandt added two hits each.  

Caden Fiveash allowed four runs on four hits over four innings before giving way to Brenden Kamnick and Blake Priest who combined for three hitless innings.

In Game 2, The Mavs scored three runs in the seventh to take a 5-4 lead and win 6-4 earning the sweep.

Tucker once again provided the key hit, a bases clearing double that scored Cash Jay, Mitchell Lucero, and Knott.

Nate Windle was the starter allowing two earned runs over 5.2 innings with Gage Norvell and Eli Cartwright tossing 3.1 innings of hitless relief.  Cartwright threw the final three innings striking out five.

NOC is at Western Friday for a doubleheaders and then hosts the Pioneers on Sunday.
