Oklahoma State University Cowgirls In Ninth After Round Two At Clemson Invitational

No. 22 Oklahoma State women's golf landed in ninth after the second round of the Clemson Invitational at the Reserve at Lake Keowee on Saturday. The team combined to shoot a 6-over 294, pushing its total to 15-over after 36 holes of play.
 
Thitaporn Saithip paced the Cowgirls with a 1-under 71, elevating her 13 spots up to a tie for 23rd. The freshman started her day strong, sinking birdies in two of her first three holes, before holding steady and surrendering just one bogey the rest of the way.
 
Saithip, who is now 2-over, is looking for her fourth top-25 outing of the season.
 
Maddison Hinson-Tolchard moved into a tie for 17th following her 2-over 74, bringing her to even par for the weekend. She has taken advantage of scoring opportunities through two rounds, going 3-under on par-5 holes.
 
Clemence Martin matched Hinson-Tolchard with a 74 of her own, putting her at 5-over and in a four-way tie for 40th.
 
Hailey Jones bounced back with a solid 3-over 75, four strokes better than her opening round score. The senior is tied for 57th with 18 holes remaining.
 
Rina Tatematsu rounded out the Cowgirl lineup with a 76, locking her in a tie for 53rd at 9-over.
 
The Cowgirls are scheduled to begin the third and final round tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. CT with a shotgun start.
